Golf outing 2009

Yesterday was the firm golf outing. This year it was an unofficial event so the group was smaller but still a great day. Good cigars, people and weather. I wish my golf was better but oh well. After the outing a group of us had dinner at The Golden Lamb. Good time.

Busy days of summer

Wow, July is almost over. Where has the summer gone. It seems like Reds Opening Day was only a few weeks ago. My schedule lately has been very busy. Work has significantly increased as well as my leadership responsibilities for chairing our Professional Development Committee. Lots of work, but the rewards are high as we have excellent speakers and content for our attorneys.

Firm golf outing is tomorrow which is always a good time. I have playe more golf this year than any other year since becoming a lawyer. Signed up for another 5k. It’s at Kings Island which should be a blast. I considered doing the 10k but chickened out. I hope to run a 10k sometime this fall.

Mom & Dad’s 40th Wedding Anniversary

This last weekend (Memorial Day Weekend 2009) was my parent’s 40th Wedding Anniversary. To celebrate my sister and I took them out to eat at one of their favorite places – Varanese. Chef John used to be the head Chef at the Cardinal Club before he opened his own place. Great place, food and atmosphere.
Here is a picture of my parents with Chef John.

We had a great weekend with my nieces being down for the weekend with great weather. It was also the first time my dog Otto got to meet and play with their dog Lucas. Fun times.

Meet my growing puppy Otto

As some of you know – I got a Weimaraner puppy on March 1st, 2009. His name is Otto Von Oberhaus. He was born on December 22, 2008.
The link below has some great photos – although this one is probably my favorite as of now. Otto is a growing boy, but is very well behaved and looking forward to doggy daycare starting in the next week.

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with my parents and my sister’s family staying at my house. One highlight was heading out to a Christmas tree farm and selecting and cutting down my tree. It was a great time and then Paige and Libbey decorated my tree which looks awesome!!
